I think this is one of my very favorite crafts I’ve ever done! When it involves my kids, I love crafts that are quick and easy with minimal clean up. Their little works of art turned keychains were just that. We had fun making them together and now, they are so excited to give them away! Read my full tutorial on I Heart Nap Time right here.

Party Napkin Garland…
With in the span of a week, all 3 kids have been sick. I thought maybe Savannah had escaped it, but she got sick last night. Thankfully, it’s only been a 24 hour bug for each of them. I thought we could use a little fun, so we crafted ourselves a party napkin garland and danced around in animal masks, because that’s how we roll.
I have a party napkin stash….doesn’t everybody? No? I hardly ever entertain guests. I have no real good reason to own so many of these things….except the prints are fabulous and they are cheap! It’s like a fabric fix for napkins.
To make a garland, all you have to do is cut some fringe and drape over some twine. So simple!

Teacher Appreciation Bananagrams…
Have you ever played Bananagrams? It’s a fun word play game that comes in a zippered banana. I don’t know why I find that hysterical, but I do! Teacher appreciation week starts May 5th and I thought this would be such a cute idea. If you think so too, then head over to SNAP! to download my free printable.
Easter Carrot Cake…
Hippity, Hoppity Easter’s on it’s way! I freaking love this cake! It was the easiest thing in the world to make. It’s just a cake baked in a bowl, turned upside down. Yep, that’s it.
Gather your supplies:
A small to medium Pyrex bowl
Cooking spray
Ingredients for your favorite cake
Buttercream frosting
Orange gel food coloring
Edible Easter grass
Offset spatula…
Mini Carrot Balloons…
Strawberry Bag Pattern…
Carrot Cascarones…
I’ve wanted to make cascarones for a few years now. They look so fun and I know my kids would more than enjoy cracking them on each other! Next year, I might get brave and fill them with glitter, but this time around they are stuffed with confetti. Today, I’m sharing how to make these Easter inspired carrot cascarones on I heart naptime. Hop on over for the full tutorial!
Felt Wall Hanging…
A while back, I was browsing the internets and came across this really cool wall hanging. I loved it…it was perfect!! Three things resonated with me. The words, the colors, and the price. I was going to order it, but I just couldn’t justify fabric and felt at that price. Instead, I ordered some wool felt and made my own. It was pretty easy and cost less than $10 to make.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries in a Bag…
Last Friday, we made it out to a local farm to pick strawberries. Florida has a big strawberry season, but this is the first time I’ve ever been. It was fun, but hot…I would definitely go earlier in the morning next time. The kids didn’t seem to mind too much…they hauled in about 10 lbs of strawberries between the 3 of them. We made strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. I’ll post a recipe for that soon, because it was that good! We also made chocolate covered strawberries…and that by the way…never gets old. For Valentine’s Day, we brown bagged some and gave them out to our neighbors.

Strawberry Confetti Packs…
For her 3rd birthday, Annabelle has requested a strawberry party complete with all things strawberry. She is beyond obsessed with strawberries…so a strawberry party she shall have! We are just doing a family party, but I still wanted to add some special touches for my littlest. First on the list, confetti! What’s a party without confetti? It’s like a cake without frosting…also a big, resounding “what’s the point?” in my book. For your tossing pleasure, I present strawberry confetti packs.
