For her 3rd birthday, Annabelle has requested a strawberry party complete with all things strawberry. She is beyond obsessed with strawberries…so a strawberry party she shall have! We are just doing a family party, but I still wanted to add some special touches for my littlest. First on the list, confetti! What’s a party without confetti? It’s like a cake without frosting…also a big, resounding “what’s the point?” in my book. For your tossing pleasure, I present strawberry confetti packs.
Gather your supplies:
Red and white polka dot tissue paper (or just plain red)
Green tissue paper
Confetti
Glue stick
Scissors
Instructions:
Double over a piece of the polka tissue paper and cut out a strawberry shape.
Add glue to the edge of the wrong side of the tissue paper. Leave an opening to add confetti.
Set aside and allow to dry.
Cut 2 inch wide strips of the green tissue paper.
Starting at one end, grab the top and begin gathering inward. Twist top to form a stem.
Make random cuts in the gathered green tissue paper.
Stuff confetti into strawberry and seal the opening shut with glue.
Attach stem and leaves to top of strawberry with glue.
When you’re ready, just tear and toss!
