Celebration Pennants…

So i had this idea…

to make celebration pennants for New Year’s Eve. Or rather…the kid’s make them…most supplies I had on hand…so this little diddy cost me a total of $5…

…I cut some canvas cloth…gave them some crayons…and told them to draw what New Year’s meant to them…they drew fireworks, balloons, spiders, surfers, snowflakes, hearts, boxes, and dashes…

…then I gave them glue sticks and some “sparkles”…they dabbed the glue…and dusted the pennants with sparkles…

…I hot glued bells on the ends…so they could make a little noise….secured them to dowel rods with baker’s twine…

…they had the best time and were so proud of their designs….

…all that’s left to do…is celebrate!
