So I had this idea… after I accidentally spilled some glitter in my driveway. At night it would sparkle…I sprinkled some in the grass…grabbed a flashlight…and the Sparkle Hunt game was born. I first tested this out at the New Year’s Eve countdown I did for Jackson, Savannah, and Annabelle.
It really is a lot of fun for the little ones…it’s super inexpensive and easy to put together…
Supplies I used:
Twine
Kraft cardstock {you can use any color but, black…even plain white copy paper}
gluestick
iridescent sparkles {found in the glitter section of Joann’s. must be the iridescent glitter…not extra fine}
mini flashlight {found in Target’s dollar section. I’ve also seen them at Dollar Tree}
scissors
hole punch
…I dabbed the glue stick on the edges of the tags and dipped it in the sparkles…attach the tag to your flashlight…write clues on the back of your clue tags {there are 6}. Sprinkle the moon sparkles in your chosen spots outside….attach clue tags. Hang your sign where you want to start and leave the flashlights for the kids.
