I love flour sack towels. If I have to have a dishtowel hanging around, I’d rather it be a flour sack towel vs. any other type of dishtowel. They wash really well and they don’t look dishtowel-y.
For this project, the process is the same as always. If you’ve never done appliqué, you can follow my 2 part tutorial found here and here for a brief walk through.
Although, the tutorial shows you how to do a zig-zag appliqué, a straight stitch would look just as great.
